比如前面提到的2013年的那篇文献 [8] 就写到：尽管可以洗澡的证据摆在那很久了，但秉承“安全第一”的医生们仍倾向于按照以往的老惯例，叮嘱患者让手术缝合切口保持干燥，直到拆线。
为此，我还检索了国际上用于指导临床决策的权威循证医学指南：UpToDate临床顾问，针对这个问题上面也给出了建议，如图：
简单翻译下：
1、手术（缝合皮肤）后，24小时内应保持无菌敷料覆盖。24小时以后，绝大部分缝合伤口可以不用包扎，直接暴露在空气中。
2、使用不可吸收线缝合的伤口，缝合术后24小时以后就可以用肥皂和清水洗澡。但用可吸收线缝合的伤口沾水后缝线有可能溶解，因此不能洗澡，而要保持伤口干燥。
的确，因为人与人之间存在体质的差异，加之年龄、基础疾病、口服药物等因素造成抵抗力的不同，并不能说所有人在手术后没拆线洗澡，一定不会发生伤口感染。
但是，洗澡沾水也不像我们之前以为的那么可怕。随着医学的发展和研究的深入，很可能不久的将来，我们手术后就可以跟平时一样正常洗澡了。
此外，更重要的是，你或许已经发现：
平时人们认为理所当然的事，
不一定，就是真的或对的。
科学和医学的进步，不仅仅是新事物的推陈出新，也包括对旧有观念的推翻和修改。这些旧有观念，不仅是传统医学的，更多是现代医学自身的。所以，现代医学业内的一个重要原则就是：
默认所有的治疗、建议和药物都是无效的，
除非有高质量的客观证据显示它是有效的。
