这里 wait 用作及物动词
“等你归来” 就是 wait your return.
If people were more polite, they would wait their turn.
假如人们更讲礼貌的话，他们就会按顺序等候。
How many times I got to tell you to wait your turn!
让我跟你讲多少遍，请排队等候！

某国家的首都在哪里？
Where is the capital of ... ?
经常听朋友们说 Where is the capital of XXX?
其实这样的表达也是中式英语
是一种不地道的表达，外国人根本听不懂。
因为在中文表达里，
我们习惯问某国首都在哪里？
而英语里，歪果仁习惯直接说 ：
What is the capital of XXX
- What is the capital of China?
中国的首都是哪个城市？
- Beijing is the capital of China.
中国的首都是北京。
What is the capital of the state you live in?
您所在州的首府在哪里？

我很喜欢那里
I like there very much
一位朋友在讲述他去过的城市时，
说道：I like there very much.
注意！歪果朋友可能从没听过 I like there 这种表达哦~
因为英语里根本没有这类的表达，
如果，你要说我很喜欢那里。
正确的表达是：I liked it.
Last year I went to New York. And I liked it very much.
去年我去了趟纽约，我很喜欢那里。
或者可以直接说喜欢某一个地方：
I really like this township, where people are friendly.
我很喜欢这个小镇，那里的人都很友好。

爱喝浓茶
to drink thick tea
在英语中，thick 表示 “厚的、浓密的”
但是，喝浓茶真的这么说么？
No，abusolutely not!
歪果仁喜欢用 strong 或者 light 形容茶或者喝酒的味觉，类似中文喜欢用 “浓”或“淡”
所以，千万别套中式思维啊~
正确说法是：to drink strong tea
