企业内部的市场控制有三个层次,分别是公司层、部门层和个人层。

There are three levels of market control within an enterprise, namely, company level, department level and individual level.

Secondly, the market control at the department level is represented by the internal transaction of the company. Transfer pricing is a method that enterprises use market mechanism to adjust internal transactions. The transfer price is the internal price determined during transactions between different business departments within an enterprise. When the market price drops due to external market competition, the transfer price within the enterprise should not be higher than the external market price. In this way, the market control of transfer price will increase the pressure on cost control of all business departments, promote them to reduce costs by obtaining resources (i.e. outsourcing) from outside the enterprise, and stimulate the vitality of tapping potential internally. For example, training and development can be done either by the internal human resources department or by an external consulting organization. In recent years, transfer pricing is an important means for transnational corporations to allocate resources globally, avoid high taxes and deal with host governments to obtain high profits.

Finally, market control at the individual level is often manifested as an incentive system and a wage system. Incentives and wages are the market prices of labor remuneration, which are usually the best measures of employees' potential value. Market based control can stimulate employees to continuously improve their skills, so that people with higher economic value can be promoted to higher positions faster. Market control is in line with the current trend of human resource management, that is, it is not simply to improve employee welfare, but to pay more attention to improving employability of employees. CEO's stock option is essentially a method of market control. Today, more than half of CEO's salary depends on long-term outstanding performance. Alibaba's partnership system and Shenzhen Vanke Group's business partner system are both market controls at the individual level, and have achieved quite influential results.
