A computer processor is made up of multiple decisive circuits, each one of which may be either OFF or ON. These two states in terms of memory are represented by a 0 or 1. In order to count higher than 1, such bits (BInary digiTS) are suspended together. A group of eight bits is known as a byte. 1 byte can represent numbers between zero (00000000) and 255 (11111111), or distinct positions. 而一个KB(KiloBytes )不是1000个bytes,而是 i.e. 1024 个 bytes。依次类推 1 MB(megabytes) 是 个 bytes等等。
A kilobyte(KB) is not exactly, as one might expect, of 1000 bytes. Rather, the correct amount is i.e. 1024 bytes. Similarly, a megabyte(MB) is not i.e. 1, 000, 000 bytes, but instead i.e. 1, 048, 576 bytes. A gigabyte is bytes.
